Narikolor laru (coconut ball)


  • Grated fresh coconut: 3 cups
  • Sugar: 1 1/2 cups


    • In a karai mix the grated coconut and sugar well with hands.
    • Cook upo low fire stirring continously till the fried coconut mixer leaves the side of the karai.
    • When slightly cool make small round balls.
    • Cool and store in a container.
    • Enjoy with a cup of hot tea.

    Notes: I always keep a karai separetly for frying coconut Laru.
