Aamor Pudding (Mango Pudding)


  • Flattened rice: 120 gm
  • Mango pulp: 350 gm
  • Eggs: 4
  • Milk: 100 ml
  • Sugar: 100 gm or to taste
  • Lemon rind: 2 tsp
  • Crushed cashewnuts: 30 gm
  • Raisins: 25 gm
  • Cream: 200 ml


  1. - Wash the flatten rice. Drain and keep in a bowl. - Whisk the cream. Chill half of the cream - Add the other half of the cream to the flattened rice. - Cover and keep aside for about 15 minutes. - Beat the eggs in a large bowl. - Add the mango pulp, milk and sugar. - Mix till smooth. Add the cashewnuts, raisins and lemon peel. - Add the flatten rice to the mango mixture. - Take a bowl and grease it with butter. - Coat it with flour. Transfer the pudding mixture to the bowl. - In a moderate hot oven bake for about 45 minutes. - Decorate to you taste. - Serve the Mango Pudding with chilled whip cream.
