  • Dressed chicken: 2 kg
  • Grated onion: 4 medium
  • Garlic paste: 2 whole
  • Coriander paste: 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar: 3 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Honey: 2 tsp
  • Sunflower oil: 1 ½ tbsp
  • Salt: To taste
  • For garnishing: Mint chutney


  1. - Wash and clean the chicken nicely. Drain. - Dry the chicken with a clean kitchen towel. - With a sharp knife make incisions on the chicken. - Take out the juice of the grated onion. - Take the chicken in a large bowl. - Marinate the chicken with the onion juice, garlic paste, and vinegar for an hour. - Add salt, coriander paste, oil and chilli sauce to the chicken. - Rub with all the ingredients nicely. - Cover and marinate for another hour. - Add the honey to the marinated juice. - Grilled the chicken upon burning coal. - With a brush rub the chicken with the marinated juice from time to time. - Also turn the chicken 3-4 times. - When done brush the chicken with the mint chutney. - The chicken is ready to serve. - Lay the chicken in a serving tray. - The fresh flavour of mint chutney makes the chicken very tasty.
